Waterfront Home In Naples, Florida Sells For A Record $62 Million

Date:

A sprawling waterfront property in Naples, Florida has sold for $62 million, putting it in the record books as the most expensive home in the history of the city’s real estate transactions. Situated on 1.5 acres, the beachfront estate offers front-row seats to the Gulf of Mexico.

Paul Arpin, of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Broad Avenue office, worked with the owner in 2014 to find the property and build the home, and has now represented the buyer and seller.

The furnished six-bedroom estate encompasses over 16,000 square feet of luxury living and portrays the sense of a warm and comfortable beach house that the owners desired.

“Just walking by, you would not realize what masterpiece exists in this hidden gem as it sits behind private luxury landscaping,” said Arpin. “The discerning buyers requested a residence with no compromises, and they saw the value in this resort-style retreat offering prime water frontage and unrivaled craftsmanship in an enviable location. Its record-breaking sale price reflects the strength of the luxury real estate market and the enduring appeal of Naples’ gulf-front lifestyle.”

Incorporating organic wood, soft stone, water and natural light, the home is in harmony with its tranquil surroundings.

An oversized stairway serves as the centerpiece of the residence leading into an array of exceptionally curated spaces, including a dining room with two adjacent square dining tables, a built-in glass wine room and grand piano. An all-glass hallway lines the south wing featuring a club room and guest suite.

“The elegance of this contemporary relaxed beach house was stemmed by the collaboration of the architect, the clients and the designers by the use of natural organic materials, mixed with metals, textured stones and unique decorations,” said Jeffrey Strasser, former chief creative officer of Marc-Michaels Interior Design.

The gourmet kitchen is highlighted by an expansive island, built-in cabinetry and a second kitchen/pantry that flows into the family room, balcony and pool on the second level. The game room features a media area, conversational area with four club chairs and multiple balconies, while a bar showcases custom cabinetry, countertops and teak window sliders that open to the balcony for effortless entertaining.

A serene natural setting frames two of the estate’s most jaw-dropping features— a first-floor pool and a second-floor infinity-edge pool capturing uninterrupted panoramic vistas. The home is equipped with an exercise wing over the three-car garage and two motor courts.
