Watch Dogs: Legion Multiplayer Mode Delayed on PC, Tactical Op Missions Delayed on Consoles

Date:

Just a couple weeks back, Ubisoft announced that the online multiplayer mode would be releasing for Watch Dogs: Legon on March 9. It was originally slated to come out in December 2020, but was delayed till early this year. However, it looks like Ubisoft’s going to need some more time to work out some issues that have cropped up.

For starters, PC players won’t be able to enjoy the online multiplayer mode until a later, unspecified date. Over on Twitter, Ubisoft stated that there were issues that caused the game to crash for players on certain GPUs, and they’ve decided to hold off on launching the mode on PC until it’s stabilized.

There’s no word on when that could be, though Ubisoft promises to provide more details at a later date.

In addition to that, the Tactical Op missions will be pushed back to March 23 on consoles as well due to crashing issues, and there will be “limited text chat” on PS4 and PS5.

Either way, console players can still enjoy the online multiplayer mode on March 9, but we wouldn’t expect an entirely bug-free experience if this announcement is anything to go by. Watch Dogs: Legion is now available on PC and consoles.
