Check the internet connection

1. Check a wireless network.
2. Exit the game, reconnect to the network.
3. Check to see if it works.

Check if there’s a pending update on PlayStation or Xbox

1. Close Modern Warfare.
2. Navigate to your Game Library/ My Games and Apps.
3. Find Modern Warfare/Warzone.
4. Press the “Options” button.
5. Select “Check for Update” (Playstation) or select “Manage Game” then scroll down to “Downloads” (Xbox).
6. If an update is available, players can install it.

Hard restarting Playstation or Xbox consoles

Playstation:

1. Hold down the power button for five seconds until the Playstation completely shuts down. 
2. Wait several seconds.
3. Press and hold the power button until the console turns back on. 

Xbox:

1. Hold down the power button until the Xbox is completely shut down.
2. Release the power button.
3. Disconnect the power cable.
4. Wait five minutes.
5. Plug it back in and turn the Xbox on.
