Call of Duty: Warzone Assault Rifle tier list for May 2021 is here. Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone brought massive weapon balances and nerfs along with it, and the battle royale has its largest number of viable Assault Rifles to use across Verdansk. A better balance means a stricter list, and thus a few weapons have fallen or raised in the ranks.

No surprise, the CR-56 AMAX is still the king of the Assault Rifles. Raven Software announced on April 28 that it will receive a balance nerf, along with the FARA 83, but for the moment the two are still top tier weapon choices. The FARA 83 has essentially replaced the FFAR 1’s role in double assault rifle loadouts. The Krig 6 received a huge buff at the beginning of Season 3, and the community is loving its accuracy and new damage at range.

The Grau 5.56 and M4A1 continue to be staples in Verdansk, often preferred for their easy-to-manage recoil patterns. The adjustments to the Cold War AK-47 made its recoil pattern easier to manage to as well, and many players are opting for an SMG alternative in the Cold War AK-47.

The FFAR 1 has taken a large hit, but despite the multiple nerfs included Season 3 it is still usable in the current climate of meta weapons and alternatives.

This should not come as a large surprise, but the Kilo 141 has been made a B-Tier weapon because of the damage adjustments made since it was S-Tier. Likewise, the other weapons on this list do not particularly out perform the weapons higher up. Nonetheless, there has been a resurgence of variety in weapon choices. Many players opt-in for some of these classics because they’re so familiar with them.

Players run C-Tier weapons quite often, especially the Oden. Its high damage output has always been a favorite of those who are accurate with it. Changes to the FAL since its S-Tier days have dropped it significantly, though we do see players use it from time to time. The Groza was supposed to be the FFAR 1 alternative, but nerfs at the beginning of Season 3 shut that down quickly.

Aside from the rapid fire first shots of the AN-94, and the high damage output of the Modern Warfare AK-47, these weapons are barely above F-Tier. Along with the FR 5.56, they’ve each proven to be useful in ground loot, but not effective once players can grab their loadouts.

Finally, we make our way to F-Tier weapons. The QBZ-83 actually has some comparable damage output numbers to the Kilo 141, but it’s hard to put a value on this weapon since it is barely used as is. The FN SCAR will never be a viable weapon as long as Raven Software continues to leave it untouched.

Valve has finally followed through on one of the initial features that was announced at the beginning of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit with the launch of Supporters Clubs.

Supporters Clubs are a new way for fans of competitive Dota 2 to support their favorite teams by purchasing various bundles of badges and seasonal equippables that are themed on the competitors of the DPC.

The featured teams have all provided the content to Valve that is being implemented in these bundles, and 50 percent of all sales will go directly to the team whose bundle you purchase. Each team will also have three different bundles to choose from that scale what content is inside.

The Bronze Club includes a badge for the team, the Silver Club includes sprays and emoticons, and the Gold Club includes a special in-game HP bar badge, loading screens, and voice lines. Badges will be shown in multiple places, while the other items, other than the special loading screens, will be usable in-game.

Valve is introducing 17 team bundles to the shop, with more to come as additional teams competing in the DPC submit their designs for approval and implementation. You can visit the team profile section of the DPC tab to see which teams have launched Supporters Clubs content.

How to get the new Stasis Aspects in Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer

Avatar

Published

on

Season of the Splicer added a series of new ways to fight the Darkness in Destiny 2. Not all of them are weapons, however: Bungie also developed an additional Stasis Aspect for each class, and they can help in the fight against the Darkness.

Obtaining the new Aspects is a matter of finishing the Aspect of Interference quest, which sends the player on a scavenger hunt around Kell’s Rising in Europa and puts them against a Vex simulation. Before trying their hand at the new quest, however, players must have acquired all other Stasis Aspects.

The three new aspects are Diamond Lance (Titan), Glacial Harvest (Warlock), and Touch of Winter (Hunter), and they offer new ways to customize Stasis subclasses. Here’s how to get them.

Aspect of Interference

The first step to getting the new Aspects is a quest given by the Exo Stranger, which involves finding Entropic Shards around Kell’s Rising. Bring your Salvation’s Grip—you’re gonna need it to destroy them.

Take advantage of the new landing zone in Eventide Ruins and follow the map marker to Kell’s Rising, where players go during the Beyond Light campaign. Guardians must find six Entropic Shards around the area, but luckily, they are easy to follow and form a path until the objective. Each of them will also show a quest indicator.

Follow the pathways until you get to an open area where you fight a Spider Tank in Beyond Light. The final Entropic Shard will be to the left side of the area, close to a walkway. (If it doesn’t spawn, restarting the quest can fix it).

Destroying the last shard will summon a few waves of particularly tricky Vex that are above the 1310 level cap from Season of the Chosen and will put up a good fight. The good news is that Salvation’s Grip isn’t necessary anymore, so take out your heavy weapon of choice and get to work.

After taking out all the Vex (including a hardy Wyvern), the mission will proceed to the next step: participate in a heroic Exo Challenge.

Heroic Simulation

The final step on the way to the Aspect is finishing a Heroic Exo Challenge. They rotate every week between Safeguard, Survival, and Agility, following the normal cycle in Europa. Don’t forget to pack the appropriate gear, including champion mods and weapons.

After completing the Heroic Exo Challenge, players must head to the Ziggurat in Beyond to get the final Aspect for their collection. The new piece will be on a second page inside the Stasis class menu.

Here are the dates for the Magic Esports postseason.

  • Aug. 6 to 8: Challenger Gauntlet
  • Sept. 2 to 5: Rivals Gauntlet and MPL Gauntlet
  • Oct. 8 to 10: Magic World Championship XXVII

The Challenger Gauntlet features the top non-league players from Zendikar Rising, Kaldheim, and Strixhaven splits. The four top players will earn an invitation to the 2022 MPL and qualify for Worlds. The next top eight will earn a spot in the Rivals League. There are 16 players currently qualified for the Challenger Gauntlet including Zendikar Rising Championship winner Brad Barclay and Kaldheim Championship winner Arne Huschenbeth.

Both the Rivals Gauntlet and MPL Gauntlet are scheduled during the same weekend and will lock in the finals Worlds spots and determine relegation and promotion for most players in either league. The top four from the Rivals League will be promoted to the MPL and qualify for Worlds.

Only the top two players in the MPL Gauntlet will stick around in the MPL and get invited to Worlds. The remaining players will compete in the Rivals League.
