Vistara Airlines to add 5000 cabin crew members with Tata’s backup by 2022

Vistara airlinesVistara, India’s greatest full-service carrier and a joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines which was formed in 2013, has announced ambitions to hire 5,000 people by the end of 2022 and has progressively resumed services that had been momentarily interrupted owing to the epidemic. In the next months, the airline intends to not only regain, but also to exceed, pre-COVID customer experience standards.

Vistara’s Chief Executive Officer Vinod Kannan has admitted that the airline has fallen short of customers’ expectations in recent months, but that the company is addressing some of the gaps on a war footing and that numerous changes and advancements are on the way. Approximately 4,000 people work for the airline now. According to multiple media outlets, the full-service carrier wants to concentrate on growing and expanding its fleet and improving overall services such as catering, in-flight amenities, and more.

By the end of 2023, the airline plans to have 70 planes, with fleets of Airbus A320, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 787-9, and Boeing 737-800NG. According to a DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) report, Vistara carried 4.79 lakh domestic passengers in January 2022, according to a DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) report the other hand, IndiGo transported 35.57 lakh domestic passengers, with SpiceJet (6.80 lakh), Air India (6.56 lakh), and Go First (6.56 lakh) following closely behind (6.35 lakh).
