By Craig Clough (January 19, 2022, 7:33 PM EST) — Jack in the Box resolved its dispute with FTX US over allegations the cryptocurrency marketplace stole the fast food chain’s “Jack” mascot to make its own “Moon Man” mascot, according to a joint filing by the parties Tuesday in California federal court.

Details of a settlement were not released, but the parties informed the court in a motion to dismiss the suit with prejudice that Jack in the Box and defendants West Realm Shires Services Inc., Colormatics LLC and Colormatics NW LLC have resolved all claims.

Counsel for the parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
