Vergeway Walkthrough Chapter 4

Date:

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 1

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy all Towers
  • 10 Towers to destroy
  • Enemies encountered: Hammer Squad, Bow Squad, Crossbow Squad, Crossbow Tower, Magmaroid
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Ballista Squad, Fireball, Deadly Shot, Starfall, Tally, Bugsy

This Vergeway Walkthrough Chapter 4 will work best if you’ve managed to get Starfall with some chest drops. However, it’s still possible to do without it, but you’ll need to put in a bit more work.

Place an Arrow Tower on the frontline to tank all units and tower shots. Deploy Bugsy below it and a Catapult Squad above it to clear towers.

Put more Arrow Towers along the way as your summoning region expands, and the previous towers fall. Reinforce your units with more Catapult Squads and Ballistas, preferably placing them to attack towers immediately.

Use Starfall to stun a group of enemies (and the officer). If you don’t have Starfall, use Tally, Fireball, and Deadly Shot to clear them.

With proper siege placement and enough time through stuns or other units, you should be able to clear this stage within a minute or so.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 2

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 6,200 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Hammer Squad, Lizard Squad, Crossbow Tower, Stella, Don Guapo
  • Card selection: Stone Tower, Crossbow Tower, Fire Tower, Catapult Squad, Tally, Billy, Stella, Bugsy

Start by deploying a single Catapult Squad to destroy the first tower. This gets the ball rolling, and more enemies will appear.

Place defenses next to your Stronghold. Use a Stone Tower in the front, then three Fire Towers and two Crossbow Towers in the back.

Summon Stella when the enemy officer (Don Guapo) starts attacking your towers. Try to save Stella from unnecessary damage. Towers should do most of the work.

When the enemy Stella appears, you can use Tally to kill her quicker. Deploy Billy and start moving forward with your officers.

Place Bugsy in a position where she can immediately attack a tower. Deploy Catapult Squads to help her out.

When your summoning region expands to the enemy Stronghold, place a Stone Tower there to tank all the damage. Your Catapult Squads and officers should focus on the Stronghold at this point, even with enemies on the way.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 3

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Defeat all Enemies
  • 124 Enemies to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Hammer Squad, Catapult Squad, Shield Squad, Arrow Tower, Ranger
  • Card selection: Stone Tower, Fire Tower, Fireball, Arrow Rain, Deadly Shot, Bugsy

You can defend from melee units with a Stone Tower backed by three Fire Towers.

When the enemy Ranger appears, use a Fireball and Deadly Shot to kill him. Try to aim so that at least one of the skills hits incoming Catapults as well since that’s your only way of removing them.

Use Arrow Rain whenever you need to, although you should do just fine with only Fireballs and Deadly Shots.

Wait until there are no more enemies (26 left) and conserve some Aether. With about 15 Aether, you can summon Bugsy to destroy the two enemy towers, at which point the rest of the melee units appears.

Bugsy will bait them into a clumped group, and all you have to do is throw another Deadly Shot or Arrow Rain to kill them all.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 4

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 6,400 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Bow Squad, Shield Squad, Ice Tower, Fire Tower, Huey Hops
  • Card selection: Bow Tower, Stone Tower, Fire Tower, Lightning Tower, Sword Squad, Ballista Squad, Starfall, Bugsy

If you don’t have the Lightning Tower unlocked, you can replace it with Crossbow Towers or Bullseye Towers, but your damage output might suffer slightly, requiring more towers to compensate.

Place a Stone Tower near the middle of your summoning region, with an Arrow Tower directly behind it. Fill the Arrow Tower’s column with Fire Towers and Lightning Towers.

Huey Hops deals damage to the Stone Tower and Arrow Tower behind it. When they fall, another Arrow Tower in the Stone Tower’s place should hold for the rest of the stage.

When you kill the first rabbit, place an Arrow Tower on the offense and use Bugsy and Ballista Squads to push towards the enemy Stronghold. Put another Arrow Tower further inward to tank more shots if you’re confident in removing the remaining Fire Towers. If not, you can just skip it and let Bugsy and Ballistas die.

Wait until the enemy suicides into your towers. With Aether replenished to about 20, start another round on offense the same way as before. This time, place Sword Squads alongside Bugsy to defend her and make the push easier. The Arrow Tower should tank the rest of the towers as before.

If you want, use Starfall near the end to give your units a bit more time to attack.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 5

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Defeat all Enemies
  • 135 Enemies to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Lizard Squad, Crossbow Squad, Stone Tower, Crossbow Tower, Krabby
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Catapult Squad, Bugsy

This stage is pretty straightforward.

Place an Arrow tower on the third column, then another one just behind it to act as decoys. Place three Fire Towers and four Lightning Towers total in the first two columns to clear incoming enemies. Add more if you feel like overkilling it.

When the second Krabby gets into Lightning Tower range, attack the enemy towers. Place a Stone Tower to tank, Bugsy below it, and two Catapult Squads above it to clear all towers. Let the rest of the enemies appear, kill your units, then suicide into the backline towers for the win.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 6

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy all Towers
  • 15 Towers to destroy
  • Enemies encountered: Catapult Squad, Crossbow Squad, Fire Tower, Crossbow Tower, Snapper
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Stone Tower, Fire Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad, Bugsy

At first, you need to set up a strong defense.

Place a Stone Tower in the fifth column to the right, then put Fire Towers and Lightning Towers (three of each) behind it. This method makes it so that Lightning Towers don’t waste shots on attacking towers.

Defend for about a minute when the enemy exhausts most of its initial troops. Start the standard siege with an Arrow Tower to tank the shots. Use Bugsy, Catapult Squads, and Ballista Squads, placing them where they can attack towers immediately.

Place more Catapult Squads and Ballista Squads along the way, and put more Arrow Towers to tank as your progress.

When you run out of Aether for more towers, let all your units die and defend until you refill to 17 Aether. Then, repeat the siege process to clear out the remaining towers and win.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 7

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Defeat all Enemies
  • 121 Enemies to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Hammer Squad, Lizard Squad, Crossbow Squad, Blazing Obelisk, Engineer
  • Card selection: Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Crossbow Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad, Bugsy

This one is incredibly easy.

Place a Stone Tower and whatever six shooting towers you like behind it. I recommend three Fire Towers to clear groups easier. Wait until all the enemies have suicided into your tower line.

Put a Stone Tower to the right close to both Obelisks. Summon Bugsy on one side and Catapult Squads on the other to attack them. When possible, reinforce them with Ballista Squads and additional Catapults. The Obelisks should fall quickly.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 8

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 6,800 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Catapult Squad, Shield Squad, Stone Tower, Fire Tower, Aegis
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad, Fireball, Bugsy

At first, you’ll need to defend by placing a Stone Tower on the fourth column from the right, with four Fire Towers and two Lightning Towers behind it. This allows the Lightning Towers to shoot units that approach your side of the field, which helps later.

When the first enemy Aegis is killed, use Fireball on the grouped siege units to save your Stone Tower.

Then, place the Arrow Tower near the top right corner (second row in the column) with Bugsy and a Ballista Squad to destroy the first few towers.

When the second Aegis appears, rushes your defense, and dies, start the sieging process all over again, this time with added Catapults.

Place more Arrow Towers as your summoning region expands and add more Catapults to push for the win.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 9

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 7,000 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Lizard Squad, Shield Squad, Crossbow Tower, Bugsy, Grove Guardian
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Fire Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Fireball, Arrow Rain, Bugsy

Similar to the previous stage, you need to defend at first.

Place an Arrow Tower in the fourth column from the right, then put four Fire Towers and a Lightning Tower behind it. You won’t face a lot of pressure from the enemy, but replace the Arrow Tower when needed.

When there are pretty much no more enemy units approaching, which takes roughly a minute, start sieging. Put an Arrow Tower to tank and Bugsy and a few Ballista Squads to push.

Use more Arrow Towers as your summoning region expands. When the enemy units clump up against your tower, clear them with a Fireball and an Arrow Rain.

Place the final Arrow Tower as close to the enemy Stronghold as possible and use more Ballista Squads. Re-deploy Bugsy when possible, making her focus on the Stronghold.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 10

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,000 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 7,200 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Crossbow Squad, Shield Squad, Hammer Squad, Arrow Tower, Grim Reaper
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Fire Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad, Bugsy

Use an Arrow Tower as the tanking tool, placing it near the center of your summoning region. Place four Fire Towers and two Lightning Towers behind it.

The enemy Grim Reapers destroys an Arrow Tower with its skill, so make sure to put replacements when needed.

When only a few units remain on the enemy’s side, use that opportunity to push. Arrow Towers will tank, while Bugsy and a few Ballista Squads should deal enough damage to destroy the towers.

In the meantime, two more Grim Reapers will appear. Let them kill your siege units, then die to your tower line.

After that, make the final push one you have 20ish Aether. Again, use the Arrow Tower to tank the enemy shots and siege units to destroy the Stronghold.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 11

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,500 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy all Towers
  • 16 Towers to destroy
  • Enemies encountered: Catapult Squad, Crossbow Squad, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Harpy
  • Card selection: Stone Tower, Bow Squad, Ballista Squad, Crossbow Squad, Catapult Squad, Tally, Bugsy

Start deploying your soldiers and Bugsy in the bottom left corner, so they stack together as they move. Once they’ve made it halfway through your summoning region, place a Stone Tower next to the enemy’s so it tanks shots. Place another Stone Tower next to it for more tanking.

When you’ve managed to push into the enemy territory, advance by placing more Stone Towers forward. Whenever you have the Aether for them, deploy more Ballista Squads and keep pushing in. Always keep one Stone Tower alive to tank Lightning Tower shots.

Good luck in this stage. Its outcome depends highly on your card levels and how fast you can respond to your towers getting destroyed.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 12

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,500 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 7,400 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Hammer Squad, Lizard Squad, Lightning Tower, Ice Tower, Noceros
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad, Fireball, Bugsy

This stage is also easy when you’re patient.

Start by defending yourself with a Stone Tower, four Fire Towers, and two Lightning Towers. I’ll let you figure out the best way to place them.

Defend until the second Noceros dies. That’s right, the second one. When the coast… erm, the battlefield is clear, start sieging.

Use Arrow Towers or Stone Towers to tank. Arrow Towers save on some of the Aether, but a Stone Towers works better later. Deploy Bugsy and Ballista Squads to remove the towers one or two at a time.

You can bolster your efforts with a Catapult Squad and use Fireball to clear away some of the enemy units that gather in the meantime. Put down an Arrow or Stone Tower on the front whenever your summoning region expands and always have a healthy number of siege units.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 13

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,500 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Defeat all Enemies
  • 101 Enemies to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Catapult Squad, Crossbow Squad, Sniper Squad, Fire Tower, Finman
  • Card selection: Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Fireball, Bugsy

Place two Stone Towers in a row (one behind another), then place two Fire Towers and five to six Lightning Towers behind the first Stone Towers (they can share a column with the backline Stone Tower).

Use Fireball to remove groups of Catapults that start attacking your towers.

When the enemy count drops to 21, summon Bugsy to destroy the towers. Use Fireball to clear the remaining enemies. That’s pretty much it for this disappointingly easy stage.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 14

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,500 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 7,600 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Lizard Squad, Shield Squad, Sniper Squad, Stone Tower, Ethereal Guide
  • Card selection: Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad

You’ll need to change strategies a bit for this stage.

First off, you can place the Stone Tower in the center of the rightmost column. Put three Fire Towers and two Lightning Towers in a column behind it. Deploy to Ballista Squads behind the towers to start chipping away at the first tower group.

When your Stone Tower gets destroyed, replace it with a new one.

When there are only a few enemy units left, and you have more than 20 Aether, start sieging. Use a Stone Tower to tank and a Catapult Squad and two Ballista Squads behind it to destroy towers. A third Ballista Squad should allow you to clear the remaining towers.

Let the gathering enemies crash into your defenses, and place another Stone Tower next to the first one when needed.

Once you’ve gathered 20 Aether again, finish the stage by sieging the same way as before. Deploy more Ballista Towers as your Aether allows.

Vergeway Chapter 4 Stage 15

  • Start with 45 Aether and 3,500 Stronghold health
  • Objective: Destroy Stronghold
  • 8,000 Stronghold health to beat
  • Enemies encountered: Hammer Squad, Sniper Squad, Crossbow Squad, Tally, Resistoise
  • Card selection: Arrow Tower, Fire Tower, Stone Tower, Lightning Tower, Ballista Squad, Catapult Squad, Fireball, Bugsy

Start by placing a Stone Tower at the center of the rightmost column. Place a total of four Fire Towers and two Lightning Towers in the column behind it. Deploy a Ballista Squad in the meantime, behind the tower, to chip away at the first few towers.

Defend until you’ve gathered around 40 Aether, then start the siege. Use an Arrow Tower to tank shots the first time, with Bugsy, Ballista Squads, and Catapult Squads making short work of the two middle towers.

Place a Stone Tower near the Stronghold to tank the rest. Reinforce your siege company with more units.

Use Fireball to clear out units surrounding your frontline tower. You shouldn’t have a problem winning from this point.
