Vampire Survivors, the pioneering reverse bullet-hell indie hit, will be hitting version 1.0 soon.

Developer Poncle has announced a release date with this new trailer, charting (literally) all the content that has been added from its initial Early Access release earlier this January up to the latest update.

The version on PC Game Pass (Microsoft Store) will also receive the 1.0 update alongside the mainline version on Steam.

The content completion patch doesn’t mean the end of Vampire Survivors. Post-launch support and “surprises” are still in store.

Starting October 7, Poncle will post daily teasers and spoilers for the upcoming 1.0 update on their social media channels.

In Vampire Survivors, your goal is to survive for 30 minutes. You may roam around the map to dodge enemies or get an attack (done automatically) to land, and collect enough experience to level up and unlock new weapons or upgrades. Over time, you’ll get stronger, the enemy waves become denser and the satisfaction of mowing them all down like cutting grass becomes even more insatiable that you want to reach that high again and again.

In other words, Vampire Survivors is a pretty good game, and can be addictive in ways roguelikes are.

Vampire Survivors leaves Early Access (and Game Preview) and hits version 1.0 October 20. The game is available on PC (Steam) and is on PC Game Pass.
