Several mainstream media outlets are providing free COVID-19 updates during the crisis, including WSJ Logistics (you can also subscribe to their logistics report email for free), Financial Times (also offering a free coronavirus business update email), and Bloomberg (offering a free email update).
Industry news sources like Journal of Commerce, Loadstar, FreightWaves and DC Velocity also provide great coverage, and Air Cargo Eye is a good resource for developments in air cargo.

Agility is a global logistics provider based in Kuwait and provides the most comprehensive updates page we’ve come across, broken down by region, country and mode and providing the latest developments on a regular basis.
DB Schenker and C.H. Robinson, two other major freight forwarders are also great sources for updates across modes, with DB Schenker maintaining an updates page and C.H. Robinson emailing client advisories as things develop.
FreightRight is a small freight forwarder based in LA that has been posting value news updates, first from on the ground sources in China, and now with a good feel for what’s going on in air cargo, with a focus on how these developments are affecting SMBs and Amazon sellers.
Windward are a maritime intelligence company that specialize in tracking ship movements. They’ve put together a dynamic map of ship movement between ports available here.
Flexport is a digital freight forwarder that publishes weekly updates with a focus on rates and operational updates across modes and geographies.
FBX – The Freightos Group’s Freightos Baltic Index (FBX) is the world’s only daily ocean freight rate index. The site is accessible for free and provides great visibility on how the crisis is impacting ocean rates.
China Briefing is published by a professional services firm out of China and focuses on developments on the ground in China.
Sixfold – For those interested in the latest developments in road freight in Europe, this free service provides a real-time map of border crossing wait-times across the continent.
Scoutbee – scoutbee, which specializes in tapping AI to help companies source supplies better, has also launched a dedicated platform to help nonprofits, healthcare providers and governments or municipalities rapidly source new suppliers for COVID19 related supplies.
