InterTalent, the UK talent representative agency whose clients have included the likes of Kelly Brook, Mel B, Joan Collins, Boy George, Pixie Lott and Vinnie Jones, have decided that they want to expand their horizons and move into the esports industry.
To enable them to do that, the company has founded a new business XU Esports, one of the first purely esports-based talent agencies in the world.
As part of their service, XU Esports will look to provide representation and opportunities for a wide range of esports professionals and other gaming-related talent.
Esports Stars Already Signed Up
The new company has announced that it has already agreed to represent the interests of a number of esports stars and other gaming professionals.
Amongst those are Call of Duty League London Royal Ravens professional IMAngelikaa, as well as Vapulear and Brittney Raines, who are Warzone players.
However, the company is also representing the interests of a number of casters and streamers including Pausible, Vearless and Upmind!.
The Head of Talent for XU Esports, Aaron Bonsell, commented that:

XU Esports clients will also be able to use their close ties with InterTalent to collaborate with other individuals and organisations across many different aspects of the wider entertainment industry.
New Opportunities
The deal is a very exciting one for those people involved in the esports industry who may wish to grow their personal brand beyond the more obviously linked symbiotic industries such as esports betting, streaming, casting etc.
With InterTalent having a 30-year-record of working within the entertainment industry, across many different forms, such as music, comedy, film and television to name but a few, the prospect of XU Esports talent being able to access such opportunities is certainly a welcome one.
While some esports stars, such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, have managed to gain a great deal of fame and fortune without the need for cross-channel exposure, for many other professionals, finding such opportunities can be tough.
That is precisely what signing up with XU Esports will offer them.
