Twitter suspends the account of Chinese scientist Dr. Li-Meng Yan after she published a paper with evidence that COVID-19 is a man-made virus created in Wuhan Lab

On Saturday, we wrote about Chinese virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan after she appeared on the British television show where she claimed coronavirus was created by Chinese scientists in a lab. Dr. Yan later fled the country and left her job at a prestigious Hong Kong university.

On Sunday, Dr. Yan joined Twitter using the handle: @LiMengYAN119. The following day, Dr. Yan tweeted a link to a paper she co-authored with three other Chinese scientists, which we covered in great details here. Many on social media were asking how long it would take for @LiMengYAN119 account to be silenced. Thankfully,

We now have the answer. It took less than two days for Twitter to shut down her account. Today, Twitter suspends the account of Dr. Li-Meng Yan after she published a paper with evidence that COVID-19 was created in Wuhan Lab. A quick look at Dr. Yan’s Twitter page shows that the account has been suspended, at least for now. Before Twitter suspended her account, Dr. Yan amassed about 50,000 followers.
