Coming as the first CS:GO esports tournament with Regional Major Ranking (RMR) points in 2021, Flashpoint 3 features a brand new format and an impressive list of invited teams.

Flashpoint 3 contestants can compete against teams like Vitality, who currently sits at the top of the CS:GO RMR rankings. Heroic, BIG, Astralis, Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, OG, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports, and FaZe Clan received invites to Flashpoint 3. North Esports also officially received an invite, despite the organization having left the CS:GO esports scene.

Finally, between May 10 and May 30, the double-elimination bracket takes place. In the end, only one will prevail and increase their chances PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

B Site kept on building on Flashpoint’s previous successes and acquired a certain standing. Now, it is officially part of the CS:GO European esports event list. Even though Flashpoint is owned by eight different esports teams, many problems plagued its organization before. First, half of its foundling organizations do not compete in CS anymore. Now, MAD Lions and Dignitas, who should be part of the project, did not receive invitations either. To top it all off, Duncan “⁠Thorin⁠” Shields, who was the face of the tournament, stepped down a month ago. Considering the tournament’s problems, the CS:GO esports community is excited to see how Flashpoint 3 fares.
