DeepHealth ve Incepto, yapay zeka destekli radyoloji yazılımı sunmak için ortaklık konusunda anlaştı

Tarih:

US-based radiology company DeepHealth is partnering with French artificial intelligence (AI) firm Incepto to expand access to DeepHealth’s AI-radiology software.

Announced as part of the 2024 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, the partnership will see the launch of the DeepHealth Operating System (OS) which both companies say will expedite clinical and operational workflows. Incepto said that the OS will also come with a selection of AI-based features.

DeepHealth will oversee the rollout of Incepto’s software across 366 imaging facilities in the US owned by DeepHealth’s parent company, RadNet.

Antoine Jomier, CEO of Incepto, said: “This strategic partnership aims at delivering faster the transformative impact in healthcare by joining forces in Europe and the United States. On the technical side, this will mean that DeepHealth will leverage Incepto’s AI orchestration platform as part of the DeepHealth OS offering and will integrate the Incepto-curated portfolio of AI solutions to extend their AI solutions to healthcare providers.”

RadNet and diagnostic products developer Hologic da var collaborated in developing AI-based tools aimed at more accurately identifying breast cancer, through the use of the companies Hologic’s 3DQuorum and Genius 3D imaging technology.

Sham Sokka, chief operating and technology officer of DeepHealth, said: “AI is rewriting the rules on what we can do with imaging technology in healthcare. DeepHealth’s radiology informatics technology, being introduced as DeepHealth OS, integrates AI into all aspects of radiology, from patient engagement to imaging and diagnosis to follow-ups. It aims to empower users across the care continuum with personalised workflows to deliver better care.”

It comes as the market for AI-based tools in radiology continues to expand. A 2023 report by GlobalData predicts that global revenue for AI platforms across healthcare will reach $18.8bn by 2027, with one of the most widely used applications for AI in healthcare being radiology.

Earlier this month, Germany-based Deepc acquired medical imaging software, the Osimis Platform, adding enhanced imaging to its suite of software.

Sokka added: “It’s important to us that clinics across the world can benefit from these tools. Incepto will give more radiology teams across Europe access to our technology, including our lung cancer AI which is currently being used in over 90% of screening sites in the UK’s targeted lung cancer screening pilot.”
