CS: GO: Michu In, Tarik Out Of Evil Geniuses'ın Başlangıç Dizisi

Tarih:

Evil Geniuses makes changes in its lineup in hopes of recovering its winning ways.

Tarik “tarik” Celik has decided to place himself on the bench of Evil Geniuses CS:GO squad.

“By no means do I think I was playing well throughout the hardships,” the 25-year old American şuraya, speaking about the team’s recent lackluster performances, “but I believe that even with our new lineup underlying issues still existed. Ultimately, I had a different approach to our issues and the team didn’t agree with my views.”

Evil Geniuses, currently ranked 15th in the world, has been experiencing a downward slope in its performance. It had won just three out of its last 10 matches. This period saw the team bowing out of the group stage of the Intel Extreme Masters Season XV and finishing at the bottom of Group D in the ESL Pro League Season 13.

Celik withdraws from Evil Geniuses starting lineup after helping the team garner four first-place finishes since joining in March 2019. “I still hope they can come to see success again even if it is without me,” he said. “I’m going to be reflecting on things that I could have done better or differently throughout my time on the team but more than anything focus on getting back into form. This will be my primary goal while being on the bench.”

Welcome MICHU

Evil Geniuses has high hopes about Michał “MICHU” Müller’s inclusion in its roster. Director of Esports Greg Kim, reflecting on their latest addition to the squad, was positive about MICHU’s potential. “We look forward to seeing him integrate with the team and for our CS:GO team’s continued growth and success,” he said while portraying MICHU as “a player who is hungry to compete” against the best teams in the world.

MICHU has been playing mostly for domestic squads in his native Poland like ESC, G2, CSGL and Kinguin from 2014-2018. His entry into the big leagues, which saw him teaming up with Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski in Virtus.pro, came at an unfortunate time as the team was suffering from internal turmoil and below-par results. The end of 2019 saw Virtus.pro disengaging from the all-Polish team, and MICHU heading off to Envy.

Evil Geniuses is hoping that the addition of the 25-year old Polish rifler will rejuvenate the team and help it get back to form.

The team’s starting lineup now consists of

  • Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
  • Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
  • Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz
  • Owen "oBo" Schlatter
  • Michał "MICHU" Müller
