Bloodborne PS1 Demake Developer Bloodborne Kart'ı Duyurdu

Tarih:

The developer of the much-loved Bloodborne PlayStation 1 demake has announced their latest project: Bloodborne Kart.

Very little else was said about the game but developer Lilith Walther, known as b0tster on Twitter, announced the news with a trailer.

It shows the Bloodborne hunter walking towards a steampunk-style bike, a reference to the famous Akira poster, before 'Bloodborne Kart' flashes on screen.

The announcement was made on Bloodborne's seventh anniversary. Walther said Bloodborne Kart would be released "when it's ready" – development on the Bloodborne demake took 13 months.

The internet has been weirdly fascinated by the prospect of a Bloodborne kart game for years, and various other fan projects have emerged in that time. This latest announcement has already gained more traction than most, however, following the success and popularity of the Bloodborne demake.

It released in January as a surprisingly complete experience, taking players back to the 1990s to experience a D-pad controlled version of Bloodborne with clunky polygon werewolves and PS1 style fog that only adds to the atmosphere.

It's available to download the free on itch.io, meaning Bloodborne Kart will likely be a free-to-play game as well, though Walther hasn't yet confirmed if this will be the case.
