The top weekly Altcoin performers were NPXS, BTT, and DENT, as the cryptocurrency market started the week with fewer volatilities trends in the market, which was mixed amongst the top 100 cryptocurrencies. While Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are showing bearish trends, other cryptocurrencies including Binance Coin (BNB), XRP (XRP), and Uniswap (UNI) are surging upwards at the time of writing (5:00 PM UTC).

Against the general perception that March always ushers in a massive bear market, many cryptocurrencies and tokens are showing good health, in what appears to be a much longer nurturing of the bull season, flagged since the middle of December 2020 to date. The health of the market for almost all of the leading cryptocurrencies has been tested, fueling periods of intermittent pumps and dumps, but overall, the resilience of these digital assets is further enticing a new wave of investors into the crypto space.

Of the performers in the market today, Dent (DENT), BitTorrent (BTT), and Pundi X (NPXS) rank as the best performers per weekly gains in the market today.

Dent (DENT)

Dent (DENT) is an ERC-20 token that serves as the native token that powers the Dent Ecosystem. The ecosystem revolves around bringing mobile data and wireless solutions amongst others to customers around the world.

The DENT token is currently trading at $0.0107, up 61.06% in the past 24 hours and 238.61% in the past week. The coin though ranked as the 86th largest coin per market capitalization comes off as the coin with the biggest growth in the past week. A bulls case that signals a big future for the company and its token in general.

BitTorrent (BTT)

BitTorrent is a popular peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing and torrent platform which has focused more on increasing its decentralization capacity in recent years. The platform and its BTT token are backed by Tron Blockchain founder Justin Sun, through a 2018 purchase by the latter firm.

BitTorrent also comes off as one of the top performers, rising by 12.48% to $0.003501 according to CoinMarketCap. Per the weekly performance overview, the cryptocurrency has surged by 117.78%. 

BTT is still one of the oldest and underpriced cryptocurrencies, but its market capitalization of $3.47 billion is a testament to how much adoption the coin has seen in the past year.

Pundi X (NPXS)

Pundi X (NPXS) is arguably one of the latest sensations in the crypto space today. The project was conceived back in 2017 as a leading developer of blockchain-powered devices with the aim of transforming retail businesses with its blockchain-based point of sale solution. The solution allows retail merchants and consumers to conduct instantaneous in-store transactions on its blockchain.

Pundi X appears to be gaining momentum in its business offering, a growth that is being reflected in its native coin, the NPXS. At the time of writing, NPXS is exchanging hands at $0.007148, up 4.05% in the past 24 hours and 107.67% in the past week. Pundi X has seen a meteoric growth that the experienced team, led by CEO Zac Cheah will be looking to sustain.
