Ternoa offers more options for token issuers with its SecretNFT Marketplace platform

Date:

The non-fungible token (NFT) art scene has been gaining a lot of interest from art collectors and investors with various digital works selling for millions of dollars.

For instance, the artwork called “Everydays: The First 5000 Days” sold for an astounding $69.3 million at Christie’s while the piece called “CryptoPunk #7804” sold for a cool 4,200 Ethereum (ETH) in 2018, which was worth around $7.5 million at that time.

With the increasing interest in NFT art, a number of platforms are now available where people can trade in digital art. One of the more innovative ones is Ternoa blockchain’s new platform called the SecretNFT Marketplace which gives token issuers more options on how they tokenize their work.

SecretNFT Marketplace alpha launched by Ternoa

Ternoa Blockchain has just unveiled the alpha version of the SecretNFT Marketplace, its new platform for NFT issuance and trading. The platform boasts of innovative features that artists can utilize to make their digital works more unique. What’s even more exciting is that the platform is still on its experimental stage and more features could be added once it fully launches.

Ternoa has partnered with 12 digital artists to have their works feature on the new platform. At the moment, there are 32 artworks on display on the platform which can be purchased once the platform is fully launched to the public. At that time, other artists can also apply to have their works tokenized on the blockchain.

NFT options for artists/token issuers

The SecretNFT Marketplace gives digital artists the option to make customizations to their NFTs. At the moment, the available features include “Blur,” Secret,” and “Protect.”

Once activated on an NFT, the “Blur” feature will cause the artwork to blur from view. The art can only be viewed in its original state by the owner of the NFT.

The “Secret” feature allows the artist to hide the art piece from view. With this function activated, the work can only be viewed by the NFT holder

The “Protect” feature lets an artist add a watermark to his tokenized work, protecting its uniqueness. Only the NFT owner will be able to view the art in its entirety while the rest will see a watermark when viewing the art piece.

Accessible by smartphones

Getting on the platform will be super convenient for users. Unlike other NFT platforms, the SecretNFT Marketplace can be accessed using the Ternoa app that will be released in the coming weeks.

This is good news for artists as it will mean greater exposure of their artworks to art lovers. Potential buyers can easily search for available NFTs on the platform using mobile devices. They can also make purchases using the app as it comes with a wallet for the CAPS crypto, the native token of the Ternoa blockchain.
