Technica Receives $38 Million Task Order from FBI to Support Vital…

Technica Corporation, a leader in high-end systems engineering and operations for mission-critical networks and applications, announced it has been awarded a Network Services and Engineering Support Task Order (TO) under the Federal Bureau of Investigation IT Supplies and Support Services (FBI IT Triple S) contract supporting the Transport Services Technology Unit (TSTU) to provide support for the FBI’s data, optical and communications networks. If all options are exercised, the contract is worth up to $38 million over four and a half years.

The TO core services include network engineering, network management, and network implementation/integration services to help TSTU support over 42,000 users across four classification levels of network transport infrastructure, spanning a minimum of four FBI Networks. Technica will provide worldwide coverage for IT services supporting the Federal Government through system design, development, fielding, and sustainment of global intelligence and command and control assets vital to the security of the United States. Services will be provided in both the FBI headquarters in Washington DC and the FBI’s new facilities in Huntsville, Ala.
