TeamOne qualify for BLAST Fall Showdown & FiReLEAGUE Global Finals

Date:

TeamOne have won Ace North American Masters Fall over Nouns, earning themselves spots in both the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown as well as the Flow FiReLEAGUE Global Finals.

Pedro “Maluk3” Campos‘ troops fought their way past BHOP and Nouns in the GSL group stage to make it to the playoffs, where they subsequently defeated EG White to book a spot in the grand final.

TeamOne will need to pick between attending two events in October

There they faced Nouns in a rematch, and once again came out on top after a three-map affair. Danny “cxzi” Strzelczyk‘s side opened the series up with a win on Inferno, but TeamOne were quickly back in control as Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa led the way to a swift Overpass victory before cruising through the Mirage decider.

The qualification leaves TeamOne with an extremely busy calendar in October. The team will travel to Europe at the start of the month to compete in the IEM Road to Rio Americas RMR, and will need to remain on the Old Continent until the end of the month when they take part in the BLAST Fall Showdown.

The Brazilians will also need to pick between playing at the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals or ESL Challenger Rotterdam, for which they qualified last week. The two events are both slated to take place from October 14-16, leaving TeamOne with a difficult decision as to which they will attend.
