An underutilised PlayStation 5 feature allows you to prioritise your download based on what you want to play. While we’ve seen this feature before in a few games, it’s largely ignored by most developers. However, Naughty Dog has taken advantage of the functionality with its Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, allowing you to select whether you’d like to play Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy first.
We’re particularly fond of the artwork it’s used when you select between the two titles: the sketched images of Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer to resemble each release look stunning. New co-op shooter The Anacrusis has clocked up over 200,000 players since it was released on 13th January.
While the game remains in Early Access and is also available as part of Xbox's Game Preview programme for Xbox consoles, developer Stray Bombay confirmed the milestone in a recent update. It also revealed that, collectively, players have taken down over one billion aliens. Not bad for a week's work, eh?
DLSS support for DirectX 12 mode is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC "later this year".
Confirmation came via a recent developer Q&A. While members of the Asobo Studio development team stopped short of confirming when, precisely, DLSS will arrive for PC players, they did update us on what's coming to the excellent flight sim game in the first half of 2022.
