tacitus leaves Triumph

Date:

The Brazilian is willing to join a new team as an analyst, assistant coach, or head coach.

Marcos “tacitus” Castilho has announced that he has resigned from his post as head coach of Triumph. The 21-year-old had been working for the North American organisation since April 2020, when he was hired as an analyst.

Two months later, tacitus was promoted to head coach and notably helped the team to a runner-up finish in IEM Beijing-Haidian North America. His decision to leave Triumph comes less than two weeks after the team failed to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 14 following a loss to Bad News Bears in the ESEA Premier Season 36 grand final.

“I couldn’t be happier that I took the step forward when presented with the opportunity to pursue my dreams,” tacitus wrote in a Twitlonger post, adding that he is open to opportunities as an analyst, assistant coach or head coach.

This is the second roster change that has occurred in Triumph this week after Wesley “viz” Harris announced on Monday that he is looking for a new team. HLTV.org knows that the former High Coast rifler Ian “motm” Hardy will be the team’s fifth player in the upcoming open qualifier for cs_summit 8, which will be held over the weekend.

Triumph‘s roster currently looks as follows:

United States Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman
United States Brendan “Bwills” Williams
United States Austin “Cooper” Abadir
United States David “cynic” Polster
