There’s a bit of news to look at today, with a significant update for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and a firm release date for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Only a couple of new releases to look at, but we look at them just the same. Then it’s on to the new sales of the day, with Square Enix having a lovely set of discounts you’ll want to check out. News

‘Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl’ Updated with New Features

So much Pokemon lately it’s easy to lose track of it all. Anyway, a new update is out for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, bringing them up to 1.3.0. This update adds an event for those who have completely cleared all of the missions in Pokemon Legends: Arceus that allows you to meet and catch Arceus. Yes, you can stuff the god of the Pokemon world in your little ball and use it as you see fit. If you can catch it, anyway. This update also adds a network trading feature that can be accessed from the GWS in Jubilife City, allowing you to finally trade your Pokemon from the game online.

‘Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’ Hits June 30th

Hmm, I probably should have slowly ramped up to that or something. Oh well. The expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak, finally has a release date. It’s June 30th. There’s a new trailer to go with the release date, so go ahead and watch it if you need a bit more hype. You can preorder Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak on the eShop now in its regular form for $39.99 or in a Deluxe Edition with some extra DLC goodies for $49.99.

Wife Quest ($7.99)

Mia has a problem. Her husband Fernando keeps getting kidnapped by flirtatious monster girls. Every time it happens, she has to venture out and save him from this peril. This time a witch has grabbed him, and Mia will have to battle fiercely to bring Fernando home. A side-scrolling action-platformer with lots of monster girls, Wife Quest naturally comes to us from publisher eastasiasoft. Developed by Pippin Games, who also did Kawaii Deathu Desu. Looks like standard fare to me outside of the theme, which is probably meant to be the important thing here.

ZOMBIE Beyond Terror: FPS Survival ($8.99)

T-Bull takes a break from its recent stream of drag racing games to give us another rather modest first-person shooter. This time you are shooting zombies. I think they had another one like that. Yes, they did. Zombie Call of Zombooty: Zombie Shooting a Zombie and 3D Games Duty Legends or something like that. Expect a similar level of quality here.
