Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar has revealed his new diamond-encrusted mouse from Finalmouse on stream, which is estimated be worth of around $100,000.

Sponsorships have played an important role in the growth of the gaming and esports industry in the past decade. Brands have shown unprecedented ways to get their name out there and Finalmouse seems to have taken endorsement to a whole new level. Summit’s latest gift package from them comes with a diamond-encrusted limited edition mouse inside, if that’s not crazy I don’t know what is.

The mouse comes in a honeycomb shell which is a common design used by manufacturers to reduce the weight of the mouse. Instead of using the shell what it is meant for, Finalmouse chose to engrave it with diamonds.

“Damn,” exclaimed Summit in surprise. “This thing is going to be taken and put into a safe every night.”. At first, he thought the diamonds were fake, but a note from Finalmouse asking him to get it cleaned by a jeweler made him think otherwise.

Having so many diamonds will make a cosmetic piece rather than a proper gaming mouse, hence would rather keep it in a safe rather than using it as his daily driver.
