Space Runner Raises $10 Million for a Fashion Platform

Date:

On Monday, the Metaverse Fashion Brand “Space Runner” announced $10 Million of funds in a recent round of funding. The money raised through the funding will be utilized to expand the company’s fashion items business and launch its official metaverse game.

Won Soh, who co-founded Space Runner, alongside Deniz Özgür, stated, “Our goal is to build the first end-to-end fashion ecosystem on the blockchain.” Many officials led this funding round, including the co-founder and chairman of Animoca Brands, Justin Kan, the co-founder of Twitch and Fractal, and other investors like Polychain, Pantera Capital, Accel, Jump Capital. Fundraising is a vital source of generating income for a cause. The major goal of this fundraising program is to support the fundamental objective of Space Runner, which is to create a new space in metaverse where they can flaunt and celebrate their branded fashion items, while gamifying the complete system for the benefits of the masses.

In the light of this program, the increased funding will enable the Space Runners team to continue their goal to become the leading supplier of interoperable fashion items across NFT games and the metaverse. This will help the team design a metaverse that surrounds fashion items to improve their “wear-to-earn” strategy. Participants that join the Space Runners metaverse fashion bandwagon will be rewarded with incentives and awards, which this model will offer.

Space Runners was founded in March 2021 to assist brands and celebrities in designing NFTs that can be used across a variety of virtual environments, including metaverse platforms, video games, and social media. In December 2021, the company launched its first collection with NBA stars Kyle Kumza and Nick Young, selling 10,000 NBA Champions Collection NFTs in nine minutes.
