The next big content update hits the PC servers of PUBG later today, and here you can find all the details about when the maintenance will begin and when it is expected to conclude.

According to an official tweet by PUBG Support, the live servers on PC will go down for maintenance on August 9 at 5:30 pm PT/8:30 pm ET or August 10 at 12:30 am UTC/1:30 am BST/2:30 am CEST. The downtime is expected to last for 8 hours, during which you will not have access to any online features in the game.

Once the maintenance is concluded, you will be able to download update 19.1 and resume your adventure in the free-to-play Battle Royale hit. The same update will be available on consoles next week.

With update 19.1, the developers introduce MP9 as a new SMG and a direct competitor to P90. Although MP9 has a lower-fire rate compared to P90 and deals less damage, it uses the popular 9mm ammo type, and the gun itself will spawn on the map as well as supply crates.

Moreover, you can expect the addition of Pillar Security Car as a new brand new vehicle in the game. As a security car, it has loud sirens, which you can use to distract enemies. Also, it is going to be one of the fast cars in the game.

When it comes to the Tactical Gear, the developers introduce Blue Chip Detector with update 19.1. As a detection device, Blue Chip will let you know of the opponents nearby, though you will only be able to see them on the map when you are looking at the detector. The detected enemies won’t appear on your minimap.

Folded Shield is another item that becomes available with the new patch. As a quickly deployable shield, you can use it to create a cover for yourself in open areas when you need an urgent reload or heal.

Last but not least, the new update delivers the anticipated Assassin’s Creed crossover to the world of PUBG. So, you can expect to see Assassin’s Creed banners as well as an Abstergo Industries headquarters in Haven, which is a hostile corporation from the AC universe.
