Polyplastics développe une nouvelle méthode de test pour identifier la formation de gaz pendant le moulage par injection

TOKYO, 19 juillet 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Polyplastics Co., Ltd., l’un des principaux fournisseurs mondiaux de thermoplastiques techniques, a développé une méthode de test qui identifie la formation de gaz pendant le processus de moulage par injection et aide à réduire les dépôts de moulage. La méthode d’investigation des gaz dans le moulage par injection (GIMIM) de la société facilite le moulage en continu et améliore l’efficacité de la production.

Au cours du processus de moulage par injection, des conditions difficiles (température élevée, vitesse élevée) et la détérioration des additifs plastiques peuvent libérer de grands volumes de gaz de décomposition. Les dépôts de moulage, les brûlures de gaz et les tirs courts causés par le gaz de pyrolyse peuvent entraîner des problèmes de qualité, y compris des effets indésirables sur les dimensions et l’apparence des produits, entraînant un taux de défauts plus élevé. Il est important de maintenir des opérations de production hautement efficaces, car les fabricants s’efforcent de répondre aux applications très exigeantes d’aujourd’hui, telles que l’électrification et l’automatisation automobiles.

La méthode exclusive de Polyplastics capture et évalue les gaz formés pendant le moulage et identifie le mécanisme par lequel le gaz de pyrolyse se forme pendant le moulage par injection. La méthode propriétaire innovante piège les gaz selon les méthodes de moulage, utilise des spectromètres de masse à chromatographie en phase gazeuse (GC/MS) pour analyser qualitativement et quantitativement leur composition, identifie les gaz qui se forment et apporte des améliorations fondamentales aux sources de leur formation.

Cette configuration simple du système est divisée en trois étapes : plastification, dosage et injection, et chaque unité est équipée de pièges à gaz pour isoler les gaz qui se forment dans chaque partie du processus. Le GIMIM peut refléter les circonstances réelles pendant le moulage en piégeant et en analysant directement les gaz formés pendant le moulage.

GIMIM permet de mesurer des substances de haut poids moléculaire pouvant provoquer des dépôts de moulage. Étant donné que cette méthode analyse directement les gaz qui se forment à l’intérieur du moule pendant le remplissage, l’entreprise pense qu’elle donne des résultats les plus proches des conditions réelles. Dans d’autres recherches, Polyplastics envisage d’examiner d’autres problèmes causés par les gaz de pyrolyse, tels que les tirs courts et les défauts de combustion des gaz, ainsi que les dépôts de moulage.

KPX Chemical and Huntsman form Joint Venture in Korea

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Sept. 28, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — KPX Chemical, a leading polyols producer for polyurethanes in Korea, and Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN), a world-leading MDI-based polyurethanes and specialty chemical manufacturer, today announced the establishment of a joint venture named KPX HUNTSMAN POLYURETHANES AUTOMOTIVE CO., LTD. (KHPUA). The joint venture will create and provide innovative polyurethane system solutions to Korean automakers from a specialty polyurethanes manufacturing facility at KPX Chemical’s Ulsan plant.  Operations are expected to commence by the end of October.

The Korean automotive industry is undergoing profound changes and presents new opportunities for high performance and light weight polyurethane system solutions. Tevva dévoile un camion électrique audacieux

Il offre une autonomie allant jusqu’à 250 km en mode entièrement électrique ou jusqu’à 500 km avec sa technologie brevetée de prolongateur d’autonomie REX, qui a maintenant été améliorée pour utiliser des piles à combustible à hydrogène.

Conçu par une équipe dirigée par Ken Scott, anciennement directeur de l’ingénierie chez Bentley et Alexander Dennis, et dessiné par Dale Grewer, anciennement designer en chef chez Jaguar Land Rover, le Tevva Truck sera fabriqué dans une toute nouvelle usine dans la zone du London Thames Freeport, à proximité du centre de Londres et de l’Europe. L’usine devrait commencer à fabriquer 3 000 camions par an d’ici 2023.

Tevva afslører stærkt elektrisk lastbil designet til nutidens verden

Konstrueret af et team ledet af Ken Scott, tidligere teknisk direktør hos både Bentley og Alexander Dennis, og designet af Dale Grewer, tidligere chefdesigner hos Jaguar Land Rover, vil Tevva Truck blive fremstillet i et helt nyt anlæg i Thames Freeport området i London, med ledt adgang til central London og Europa. Anlægget forventes at begynde at producere 3.000 lastbiler om året inden 2023.

Tevva unveils bold electric truck designed for the real world

It offers a range of up to 250 km in fully electric form or up to 500 km with its patented range extender technology REX, which has now been upgraded to use hydrogen fuel cells.

Engineered by a team led by Ken Scott, formerly Engineering Director at both Bentley and Alexander Dennis, and styled by Dale Grewer, former Chief Designer at Jaguar Land Rover, the Tevva Truck will be manufactured in a brand-new facility in the London Thames Freeport area providing close proximity to central London and Europe. The facility is expected to begin manufacturing 3,000 trucks per annum by 2023.

Thanks to Tevva’s strong supplier partnerships, fleet operators can benefit from an extremely reliable BEV powertrain paired with an exceptionally robust and proven truck-derived chassis.
