Polygon began collaborating with Community Gaming to allow developers to deliver increased scalability while organizing Esports events.

Polygon(MATIC) Partners With Community Gaming

The collaboration will enable the creation of new competitions that will be powered by Community Gaming and delivered to the Polygon (MATIC) smart contract universe.

The Community Gaming platform makes it very simple to organize bespoke Esports events in minutes. Community Gaming provides participants, organizers, and developers with all software and resources they need to build Esports events from beginning till the end, using highly scalable blockchain payment technology.

It requires zero understanding about wallets or smart contracts to use and even comes with preset payments. With the new collaboration, such as Esports events will now be offered at Polygon network and, most importantly, immediate player payouts are possible.

Southeast Asian tournament developers have already built and launched the first tournament to benefit from the collaboration with Polygon. The victors of the “Axie Infinity Squads League” got their prize money within seconds, which is one of the most appealing aspects of this innovative system.

As compared to Esports events that use more traditional payment mechanisms that might take months to complete, the new method is far more appealing to the gaming community.

Community Gaming is a brand-new gaming platform where you may earn money by completing weekly objectives. A rewards scheme is also in the works to boost users’ earning potential.

The game’s live earnings leaderboard now includes filters for games, tokens, and countries, and tournaments are on the way.

The Announcement Follows The Successful Initial Investment for Esports Events

The collaboration with Polygon comes only two weeks after Community Gaming launched a $2.3 million seed investment round. CoinFund led the investment, which included participation from Animoca Brands, Dapper Labs, Hashed, Thirty-Five Ventures, and Play Venture.

Angel Investors such as WhalShark, GenGeSports, and Kevin Chou have joined this group. In 2020, ConsenSys lead the inaugural pre-seed round.

Community Games has announced a million-dollar investment in its growth ambitions. The funds will be utilized to increase the company’s footprint in Latin America and Southeast Asia.

According to the company, Community Games is “already witnessing enormous growth from grassroots organizers and skilled contestants.”
