Elite Raids are a new feature to Pokémon GO. Mystery Eggs began appearing on the map near EX Gyms on Oct. 16, and Hoopa Unbound hatches from these eggs after 24 hours. In correspondence to when the eggs were spotted, the three times the eggs will hatch are 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. local time. Trainers are only able to catch Hoopa Unbound in-person, so they must come with a team before Hoopa Unbound hatches. Additionally, trainers will only have 30 minutes to complete the raid, so it is best to come with the best Pokémon to counter Hoopa Unbound.
Hoopa Unbound makes its first raid appearance in Elite Raids on October 16 at 11 am local time.
