Players have unlocked all three Ultra Unlock bonus weeks during Pokémon Go Fest 2021

Published

on

Day two of Pokémon Go Fest 2021 has started rolling out in certain regions, and players have already taken advantage of the various bonuses to complete the requirements for the third and final Ultra Unlock bonus.

In total, this means that players have now completed all 24 of the global challenges hosted in the Global Challenge Arena during the event.

Niantic will now be running three additional weeks of themed content starting on July 23. These Ultra Unlock bonus weeks will each feature new content, most of which we still have no information about.

  • Ultra Unlock Part One: Time – July 23 to Aug. 3
    • “The flow of time will be disrupted! Pokémon from various eras will be appearing more often.”
  • Ultra Unlock Part Two: Space – Aug. 6 to 17
    • “Space itself will be distorted as Pokémon from various places appear!”
  • Ultra Unlock Part Three: ??? Aug. 20 to 31
    • “Will these abnormal events continue to happen? What awaits us during Part 3? Stay tuned, Trainers—we’ll keep you posted on our findings!”

Out of the three events, we only know the themes for two, Time and Space, and Niantic has only hinted that the Ultra Unlock Part One: Time will add Shiny Cranidos and Shieldon to the game.

Based on the messaging, Niantic is going to hold off on sharing any details about the final milestone for a bit longer. However, Hoopa has appeared in the game’s loading screens and its hoops have been seen in the game on day two, so it will likely involve the Mythical Pokémon in some form.

AGO sign 18-year-old FPL player as sixth member

Published

on

The highest-ranked Polish team, AGO, have announced an adjustment to their lineup after failing to secure a spot at the final Regional Major Ranking event – IEM Fall. “The Hawks” have decided to revisit the idea of an expanded roster with the signing of kRaSnaL, an 18-year-old that qualified for FPL in August.

kRaSnaL is AGO’s new signing

kRaSnaL was unveiled as the team’s sixth player on Friday and has already played two matches for the team. Previously, kRaSnaL has represented ESCA, a team competing in ESEA Advanced and the Polish Esports League.

“After a few years of mixing, I join x-kom AGO. This is a dream come true for me,” kRaSnaL said in a statement. “I have to prove my worth and show what I can do on the server. I am happy because I have been noticed. These will be busy months.”

AGO are one of the first organizations to experiment with an extended roster, starting with seven players in 2019 after a merger with x-kom. Later that year, a number of players were trialed, including Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, before a six-man roster was set.

The team cut their roster down to five early in 2020, then expanded it to seven shortly, before settling on a five-man lineup at the end of March. The team featuring youngsters Maciej “F1KU” Miklas and Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak managed to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 12, reaching a milestone their 2021 roster built around star signings Karol “rallen” Rodowicz and Michał “snatchie” Rudzki wasn’t able to reach.

AGO open to offers for mhL

AGO are currently ranked 24th in the world and are competing in ESEA Premier S38, Elisa Invitational Fall, and Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Regional Series 3. The team hasn’t revealed what approach they intend to use in terms of utilizing all six players they have available.

AGO are now:

Poland Damian “Furlan” Kislowski
Poland Maciej “F1KU” Miklas
Poland Eryk “leman” Kocęba
Poland Michał “snatchie” Rudzki
Poland Karol “rallen” Rodowicz
Poland Szymon “kRaSnaL” Mrozek

Poland Mikołaj “miNirox” Michałków (coach)

When Will Kingdom Hearts 4 Be Released?

Published

Top Games

Kingdom Hearts 4 likely won’t release anytime soon, despite the latest Nvidia leaks.

The well-loved Disney and Square Enix cross-over series, Kingdom Hearts, has had a plethora of installments over the years but only three main series games since its debut in 2002. With various spin-offs, prequels, and sequels, the series is notorious for having confusing plot lines, but that only makes it that much more special for die-hard fans.

Players who have been following the recent Nvidia database leaks may have noticed an entry for Kingdom Hearts 4 nestled amongst other releases. While the validity of these leaks is still up in the air, many have seen the listing as a positive sign. Despite this, though, fans shouldn’t get too hopeful about any Kingdom Hearts 4 news coming anytime soon.

Nvidia has stated that many of the titles listed are “speculative.” Some developers have already come out against the list, saying that the information is inaccurate. In regards to a PC listing for Halo 5: Guardians, community director Brian Jarrard confirmed that there were no plans for this port, and that the listing may have actually been referring to Halo 5: Forge.

It’s definitely possible that the same is true for Kingdom Hearts 4, as speculation for a future installment to the franchise is a reasonable expectation. But fans of the series know that these games do not come out fast. With a 14 year gap between the release of Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3, many of us might be hitting middle age before we see the next main entry materialize.

As of yet, there has been no confirmation from Square Enix that Kingdom Hearts 4 is in development and no timeline has been set for it’s release.

Even if we’re fortunate enough to see Kingdom Hearts 4 before going gray, Square Enix has a number of big projects coming out in the next few years which they’re likely to focus on. With Forspoken coming out in 2022 and Final Fantasy XVI appearing eventually, it’s fairly safe to say that Square Enix won’t be short of big hitters in near future.

How to get the Euphonious Kamuy mount on Final Fantasy XIV

Published

on

With over eight Kamuys available in Final Fantasy XIV, they suit all kind of tastes with diverse themes. For those who like Stormblood‘s aesthetics and fire effects, the Euphonious Kamuy is the ideal option.

The fox-like mount is fire-themed, with white and red fur, and features “scarlet flames of rebirth” emanating from its body. It’s not the easiest Kamuy mount to unlock, however. It involves a lengthy process, even though it’s not among the longest grinds compared to other mounts in FF XIV.

The Euphonious Kamuy Fife, used to summon the mount, is a drop from the Hell’s Kier Extreme raid. It has a relatively low drop rate and can be traded for 99 Suzaku Totems instead. Only one totem is unlocked upon completing the Extreme duty, however, which means it can take you a whole evening of farm to earn the mount. But that’s not all: you have to complete a whole questline before unlocking the duty.

How to unlock Hell’s Kier Extreme and to complete it

The questline required to unlock the Extreme trial is in Stormblood, which means players must reach level 70 to unlock it. The very first quest is called “Tortoise in Time” and can be started off in The Ruby Sea (27.9 ; 16.4).

Then, you’ll have to go to the Reisen Temple. You don’t have to complete the dungeon, so instead but speak to the little raccoon NPC next to its entry, Furi.

Then, players will have to complete the dungeon Swallow’s Compass to unlock Hell’s Kier via the quest “The Fire-bird down below.” Once completed, the Extreme version of the trial will be available through Kugane’s Wandering Minstrel, similar to other Extreme trials.

Once players unlock Hell’s Kier Extreme, you’ll have to complete the raid a certain number of times, 99 at the most. It’s possible to complete it unsynced to hasten the process, since the same loot rules apply in this case. But it will still be a tough battle if you don’t know the mechanics, so it’s advised to watch or read about it before entering the duty.

You might want to find a group in your free company to farm the mount, or create or rejoin a party using the Party Finder from the duty tab for better organization of the whole process.

Tims joins BOOM Esports

Published

on

BOOM Esports has picked up one of Southeast Asia’s best support players.

The Indonesian esports organization announced today that Tims, formerly of TNC Predator, will join its roster permanently. The move was made possible after TNC released its entire roster on Sept. 15, who Tims had played for since December 2016.

BOOM endured a disappointing Dota Pro Circuit 2021 season, failing to place in the top half in either seasons of the SEA Regional League, in turn losing their shot at The International 10. The Indonesian org has taken drastic steps to remedy their strength, opting to break from their tradition of only recruiting Indonesian players.

With Tims, the BOOM squad now numbers three Filipinos. There is one more carry slot left to fill, though Palos, formerly of Team Execration, is standing in. With rumors surrounding the joining of Tims’ former TNC teammate, Gabbi, BOOM could be finishing their roster shuffle with another sprinkling of star power.

Tims is one of SEA’s most skilled and accomplished position fours, and was part of the TNC squad that won the SEA region’s second-ever Major at MDL Chengdu 2019. The 24-year-old broke out in professional Dota 2 in March 2016, and was recruited by TNC by the end of the year. He proved to be an excellent, and stable, stalwart of TNC, staying through multiple roster changes and making a name on the international stage.

With a new chapter ahead of him and his new team, BOOM is certainly looking to start the new season with a bang.
