Crypto analyst PlanB believes that Bitcoin is headed for historic highs in 2021, wherein the best-case scenario is $450,000 and the worst is still a staggering $135,000. The forecast comes amid inflating concerns of an upcoming bear market.

PlanB Claims Bitcoin Is Set to Match All-Time Peak in October

A reputed analyst in the crypto community, PlanB is popular for creating stock-to-flow forecasting models and has repeatedly indicated that the bellwether cryptocurrency is set for a price rally this year.

Despite ongoing fluctuations in BTC price action, the analyst has maintained his model, predicting an optimistic outcome in the mid-term. PlanB’s model is currently projecting that the largest cryptocurrency could trade at $47,000 in August, which has been termed the “worst-case scenario”. This will be followed by a slight downturn in September when BTC is predicted to touch the $43,000 mark, only to pick up and race past the $63,000 level in September — close to its all-time peak of $65,000 from mid-April.

According to PlanB’s forecast, things will begin to gather pace in October and Bitcoin could appreciate up to $98,000 leading to a photo-finish of nearly $135K at the end of this year.

If PlanB’s projections hold, Bitcoin could be headed for a meteoric rise, which would be a stark departure from bearish speculations from some in the community, like Josh Rager who claimed that $64,500 was the last peak of this year’s BTC price cycle.

Elaborating on BTC price potential in 2021, PlanB added, “Wait until you have seen my base case and best-case scenarios! OK, a hint: best case Dec $450K.”

Kiyosaki Is Waiting For BTC To Reach $24,000

Meanwhile, Bitcoin has shed all its previous week’s gains with a 5% decline in value. On Sunday, the digital asset stood at $33, 337, with prominent voices in the industry anticipating a deeper plunge.

Recently, Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad” joined a string of high-profile speculators betting on an incoming bust for the BTC market. Speaking on the overall climate of the industry, Kiyosaki claimed that the “biggest bubble in world history getting bigger”. He suggested that he would wait for the prices to reach $24,000 to invest in the currency.
