Following the Summer Game Fest 2023 showcase, It appears Atlus jumped the gun and decided to give gamers one more surprise. The Persona 5 Tactica trailer. (On Accident Of Course)

Whether it was a mistake or not via the Atlus West official Instagram account, both Persona 5 spin-off Persona 5 Tactica and the anticipated Persona 3 Remake now officially titled Persona 3 Reload, were revealed. Looking at both of the leaked trailers it appears that they were both meant for the Xbox Games Showcase to be held on June 11, 2023.
In the Persona 5 Tactica’s trailer, the release date is set for November 17 not only on Xbox but also on Xbox Game Pass and PC. Instead of having a definite release date Persona 3 Reloaded was stated to be released in early 2024 for Xbox, PC, and Cloud with no mention of Xbox Gamepass. Although other platforms haven’t been listed gamers must remember that these trailers were originally intended to be shown at the Xbox June 11 showcase. It would make sense for other platforms to not be listed.

Currently what is known about Persona 5 Tactica is that it’s Atlus’s take on a Fire Emblem-like RPG meaning the Phantom Thieves will be in a turn-based tactical battlefield as they steal the hearts of criminals. Persona 3 is a complete remake of Persona 3 not just a remaster. This title is said to “add aesthetic touches introduced in Persona 5, but still preserves Persona 3’s distinct look and atmosphere.”
