Peerless-AV will be running Behind the Screens technology tours at its A New AV Experience Showcase and Networking Event, which is being held at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, on 20-21 September.

Hosted by Peerless-AV and Absen, the tours will showcase the media centre, Absen A99 stadium perimeter LED displays and the two 10mm Absen SR10 LED screens, explaining why the technology is particularly suited to sports stadium digital signage and providing insight into the remote management of live scoring on match days.

The tours will be guided by Bryan Crotaz, the chief executive of Silver Curve, who will cover:

• • How to combine live score data, Hawkeye and replays without a talkback system
  • How scorers can create new data layouts without training them in Adobe
  • How a fielder’s name can appear on the board within a second of them running for the ball
  • How to deal with component failure, power failure and rats in the fibre, without missing a beat
  • A sneak preview of future planned developments of Lord’s, including the new 32×9 scoreboard that will go live in 2023
