Through the RMIT community Discord server, competitors can vote for the games that feature in the Futures Series. Titles such as Rocket League, Fortnite and Apex Legends are being considered. Once the titles are decided, the Futures Series will commence on August 14th and will run until October 6th.

ORDER is no stranger to tournament operations. In February, the organisation partnered with the Australian and Victorian Governments to host an invitational Rocket League tournament during Expo 2020 Dubai.

According to a release, RMIT University features an esports community containing over 3,000 members. In addition to its dedicated facilities and support programmes, the university often competes against other universities in the region.

RMIT University becomes the sixth partner of ORDER, joining Dell’s gaming brand Alienware, gaming peripherals manufacturer Logitech and Australian telecommunications company Optus on its roster. Most recently, the organisation joined forces with mental health organisation The Man Cave.
