Online Cannabis Calendar: Cannabis Cup at Home

Date:

Colorado’s preeminent cannabis event in the early days of legalization, a full-blown High Times Cannabis Cup hasn’t been held in Colorado since 2015. The cup has returned to Colorado this year, and you’re invited to tag along.

Denver and Pueblo cannabis users are invited to participate in the cup after registering, as judging and voting take place at home. And that’s not the only bout of skunky fun going on in Colorado this week, with an outdoor cleanup effort, talk with a U.S. senator and more in our Cannabis Calendar. Get the details below.

High Times Cannabis Cup
Monday, June 1, through Thursday, June 5
Denver and Pueblo

There will be two parts to the High Times Cannabis Cup in Colorado this year, with dispensaries in Denver distributing the competing products on June 1 and 2, and Pueblo dispensaries doing the same on June 4 and 5. Instead of bringing thirty “expert” judges together in one place where they can try the best that Colorado’s marijuana industry has to offer, High Times decided to throw this event for the people. Dispensary customers will be responsible for choosing Colorado’s best this year, picking up large collections of samples at participating pot shops, then sampling them and filling out their ballots at home. Judges will then have until July 23 to cast their votes, which will be announced on July 25 during an awards show broadcast online. Register and learn more with High Times.

Cannabis Marketing Summit
Monday, June 1, through Thursday, June 4

The Cannabis Marketing Association won’t let a pandemic stop its three-day marketing summit, which features around thirty speakers from across the country’s pot industry. Learn about the next levels of cannabis branding, post-COVID strategies, social responsibility, public relations and more. Join the conference for $149.
