Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff may return to the grind of Fortnite. In a recently grabbed Twitch stream clip, Nickmercs explains why he’s been enjoying Fortnite so much and why he thinks Fortnite esports is above the rest.
It’s not surprising that Nickmercs has been enjoying Fortnite as Timthetatman and SypherPK were running trios with Nick last week. All three seemed to be enjoying the matches and the return to Fortnite.
But why would he leave Warzone and Call of Duty which has been so good to him lately? Because these guys play video games eight to 12 hours a day, five to six days a week. Games get old no matter how much you may enjoy them or how popular they are.
The same goes for Warzone and Fortnite. While I think his time back in Fortnite will be limited, expect to see Nickmercs on Fortnite more and more. He mentioned that he played close to 80 games of Fortnite off-stream over the weekend. He probably wants to spend more time on stream, so prepare for some duo games with SypherPK over the next few weeks.
His time won’t be done with Warzone, and I expect him to return to the CoD battle royale with the release of the suspected new map. It’s a push and pull industry and at the end of the day, Nickmercs is going to play whatever makes him happy, and Fortnite seems to be that game.
