New Pokemon Snap’s Hard Won Happiness requires players to capture the elated expression of a Pidgeot. With some Fluffruit and patience, players can earn a four-star photo of this Flying-type Pokemon.
Travel to Florio Park at night in order to begin the Hard Won Happiness quest. You will be assigned this task through the LenTalk system after reaching Research Level 2.
Known as a stoic Pokémon, this mission revolves around capturing a rare sight of Pidgeot. While you’re scrolling through Florio Park’s trail, you will notice Pidgeot at the beginning of your path.

After seeing Pidgeot, this Pokémon will then fly towards a sleeping Bouffalant and land near it. Aim a few Fluffruit near Pidgeot in order to prompt the Pokémon to eat them.
After finishing this first encounter, you will notice Pidgeot again by the lake in Florio Park. You should aim a few more Fluffruit near Pidgeot until the Pokémon consumes them. When reaching the end of the trail, search for Pidgeot among the nearby flowers. This Flying-Type Pokémon will then fly closer to you and smile. Once you notice Pidgeot smiling, you should capture the moment with your camera.
Although there aren’t any rewards for finishing this task, you can submit this Professor Mirror and still earn a star rating for your photos. If you’ve captured a happy Pidgeot, then you’re guaranteed to receive a four-star photo.
