Neon Fields has an amazingly vibrant setting, but if it’s too much it helps knowing how to change settings for this Rocket League field. Rocket League is already a fast pace game, such vibrancy can be distracting and prevent players from performing their best.
Fortunately, Epic Games has provided a way that allows players to change the effect settings for players struggling on Neon Fields. It can be easily accessed from the main menu and changed in a few short steps.
From Epic Games’ Rocket League Support: “To ensure that Rocket League remains enjoyable for all players, there is a settings option called Effect Intensity. This setting will adjust the intensity and the visuals shown on Neon Fields. The setting can be changed to Default or Low.”
Follow these steps to change the Effect Intensity:
- Select Settings from the Main Menu
- Select the Video tab
- Find the Effect Intensity drop-down menu
- Select your desired setting
