The Jump Shot Creator returns this year in NBA 2K22, allowing players to create their own tailor-made shooting strokes in MyCareer.
Especially before playing your first college or G League game, making sure your animations are set up to your liking is something all players should do. For those looking to dominate out of the gates, here’s how to unlock the Jump Shot Creator in NBA 2K22 MyCareer.
Rest assured, unlocking the Jump Shot Creator in NBA 2K22 this year is as easy as it’s ever been in series history.
On Current Gen, before playing your first college game, select the option to go to the Neighborhood. Once there, simply press Start, navigate to the MyPlayer tab, and select the Jump Shot Creator.
That’s right, it’s unlocked right off the bat this year.
Similarly, in NBA 2K22 Next Gen, simply press Start, navigate to the MyPlayer tab, select Animations, and go to the Jump Shot Creator tab.
On both versions of the game, the Jump Shot Creator functions just as it has in past 2Ks. Players can choose a Lower/Base and up to two Upper Releases, as well as set the shot’s Release Speed and Animation Blending.
For those on Current Gen, the second-to-last Release Speed has been the sweet spot, while those on Next Gen can feel free to crank up the speed to max.
