NAVI have withdrawn from BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 and Complexity will replace them in the competition

Visa complications have forced Natus Vincere to withdraw from the BLAST Premier Spring Final, which is slated to occur from June 7-11 in Washington, D.C., according to BLAST’s announcement.

Complexity have been selected as the replacement team following the withdrawal of Natus Vincere, as per rule 7.1.3.2.2 of the BLAST Premier rulebook.

The rule specifies that the team eligible for replacement is determined as “the runner-up from the Last Chance portion of the Groups.”

Complexity are set to travel to the United States capital following their upcoming participation in IEM Dallas. Competing in these two tournaments on home soil provides an opportunity for the team, led by Johnny “JT” Theodosiou, to achieve improved results, especially after their early exit from the BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage where they finished in 12-14th place in May.

The BLAST Premier Spring Final is set to offer a substantial prize pool of $425,000 along with a coveted spot in the end-of-year BLAST Premier World Final for the eventual winner.

Complexity are set to join a highly competitive BLAST Spring Final lineup, where eight teams will vie for the top spot. Five of these teams rank within the top 10, including Vitality, the recent champions of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, and Heroic, a formidable presence in the server despite falling short of the grand final in the aforementioned French Major.
