TaleWorlds Entertainment announced today that the popular RPG game will be released on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One X and Xbox One S.
TaleWorlds Entertainment announced today at Gamescom 2022 that their action-RPG Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will be released on October 25th on PlayStation (PS4 and PS5) and on Xbox (Xbox One and Series S&X) on Xbox.
Since this game has been developed as a game that can be played on different platforms since day one, the console version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will have the same gameplay features as the PC version. The game will be available for pre-order on the Playstation and Xbox stores today (23 August 4 PM UTC) as well as major video game stores.
It will also migrate to the full version of the early version currently available on PC along with the release of the console version on the same date. We would like to note that this stage of the game’s life is not the last, even if this stage seems to be a decisive stage in the life of the game, but it is not the end of the road for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, which will continue to receive updates in the coming months.
“In these two years we have come a long and difficult road,” TaleWorlds Entertainment CEO Armagan Yavuz said in a statement today. “Developing a massive and complex game like Bannerlord on so many platforms and in the midst of a pandemic is no easy task and I am extremely proud of our team for their awesome and awesome work.” Despite the challenges, this path has also been a useful one: we found many synergies that we initially did not expect between consoles and PC that make the game grow and become even better than it was in other circumstances. Our amazing community has been supporting us on consoles since Warband.”
