Monster Hunting Cheatsheet Snow Beast

Date:

Let me guess, you need help beating another monster in Lords Mobile? Which one is it this time? The house with teeth? The big freaky zombie? No? Something even uglier? Oh, you must be talking about the Snow Beast.

Fine. I’ll help out, but don’t expect me to stick around too long. I can barely even look at the Snow Beast for 10 seconds straight without giving myself nightmares! Luckily, I know a few tricks and lineups you can use to bring it down.

How to Attack Snow Beast?

Like I said, I can’t stand the Snow Beast’s creepy clown face, so I’ll make this quick. This monster has very high levels of magic defense. For anyone who needs an explanation in single syllables, here goes: don’t hit this thing with spells.

Instead, the best method to beat Snow Beast is to use regular attacks, mainly from agility-based heroes. Strength heroes can help, but ranged damage dealers tend to work best.

What else? The Snow Beast targets whichever hero is further away from it, so position your beefier heroes there. It can also cause your whole lineup to lose health gradually, so speed is of the essence. You need to bring this monster down quickly if you want to get the loot.

Snow Beast F2P Lineup

Want to wipe that sick smile off the Snow Beast’s face? In this section, I’ll provide a full set of lineups you can use to defeat Snow Beast using nothing but F2P (free-to-play) heroes.

Remember, there are multiple ways to bring down monsters in Lords Mobile. You may not be a god at the game like me and have heroes leveled up. If so, you can switch out a couple of them for heroes in the same niche, and you should still be able to win.

Also, don’t forget that it’s always best to use your high-level heroes over low-level ones. A high-level hero will have more health and bigger damage output, and they’ll last much longer. Even if their kit might be less optimal, the stats will matter more.

With that out of the way, let’s look at the best F2P lineup to beat this beast.

Level 1-4 Snow Beast F2P Hero Lineup: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Tracker, Trickster, Black Crow

If you’ve learned anything from my guides so far, this lineup should come as no surprise. Snow Beast hates arrows and crossbow bolts to the face (Who doesn’t?), so the best lineup to use involves a lot of archers who deal major physical damage, like Scarlet Bolt and Black Crow.

In my tests, I’ve found that this lineup works fine all the way up to level 4. But when dealing with a level 5 Snow Beast, you might want to up the ante a little.

Level 5 Snow Beast F2P Hero Lineup: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Death Archer, Trickster, Black Crow

For high-end Snow Beast encounters, Tracker drops out and Death Archer enters the field. Why? While Tracker does damage well enough, Death Archer has a little more DEX and some handy skills to boost your team in tough fights.

Snow Beast P2P Lineup

Want to make things easier for yourself? Then pay up! If you hand over some cash in-game, you can access the elite P2P (pay-to-play) heroes to boost your lineup and bring down Snow Beast even faster than before.

Level 1-5 Snow Beast P2P Hero Lineup: Demon Slayer, Scarlet Bolt, Boommeister, Black Crow, Cursed Hunter

Yes, that’s the same lineup for all five levels of Snow Beast. Why? Wow, you’re really asking too many questions today. Because it works! This lineup has the perfect blend of ranged strength and support skills to do massive damage to the monster while keeping everybody alive and powered up as long as possible.

Like I said before, there’s no harm in swapping out one or two of those heroes. I’ve seen a few players include Shade in their lineup, which worked out fine. But the lineup above provided the most consistent results.

Snow Beast Rewards

The whole point in beating monsters like the Snow Beast is to get loot and materials that you can use to power up your heroes and continue the never-ending grind of the game. But we all know that some monsters are more interesting to defeat than others, as they drop better stuff.

How does Snow Beast stack up compared to all those other creatures out there? Well, here’s a convenient list (I know you like lists) of its rewards:

  • Chest (Common to Legendary, depending on the level)
  • Speed Up (Between 1h and 24h)
  • Shield (8h to 3d)
  • Gems (200 to 1,000)
  • Gold (15k to 600k)
  • Beast Antlers
  • Beast Blood
  • Beast Paw
  • Festive Bell

Those last four items sound pretty interesting, right? Well, if you’re familiar with Lords, you’ll already know what they’re used for. But, a lot of dummies read these guides, so I’ll still have to spell it out; you use these craft the Snow Beast Set.

Gears

After beating the Snow Beast a few times, you’ll start building up a stash of its unique materials. You can use them to craft Snow Beast gear.

Now, these items may have cute little names and look like something you’d expect some little kid to wear at a Christmas party, but they’re actually pretty useful. Unlike other sets, the Snow Beast Set has only three craftable items. Let’s take a closer look:

  • Winter Parka – You won’t need too many materials to craft this piece of armor, and it’s hardly the best item in the game, but it’s not all that bad, either. At Mythic levels, it offers a 17.5% boost to infantry ATK, along with 21% extra army HP. The real boost comes with up to 35% cavalry DEF. Not too shabby.
  • Winter Stompers – These boots are also pretty cheap to craft, so you won’t have to spend an eternity stocking up five or more of each material (cough, Necrosis). With the Winter Stompers, you can enjoy a 35% boost to ranged DEF, an 18.2% increase in army DEF, and 9.8% more cavalry ATK.
  • Winter Mitts – These are arguably the best of the bunch. They can provide a 14% boost to range ATK, as well as massive 35% increases to army HP and army DEF, finished off with a 45.5% increase to infantry DEF. As you might expect, they require the most materials, so you’ll need to smash your way through many Snow Beasts before you can craft them.

Snow Beast Packs

Don’t want to spend hours battling endless hordes of Snow Beasts to get your greedy paws on some Mythic gear? I get it. And I’ve got a solution for you — buy chests.

You can purchase Snow Beast Chests to your heart’s content and open them up with a quick tap of the screen to (hopefully) get the materials you’re searching for.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Snow Beast has an ugly face and a mean temper. It’s not the nicest monster to face in Lords Mobile, so I’m not surprised you needed so much help with it. Luckily, you should know what to do by now, but if you need a recap, here’s a quick summary: use AGI heroes.

That’s it. That’s all the advice you really need. Stack your lineup with powerful bow-wielders like Demon Slayer and Black Crow to get the job done. And then start saving up for those wonderful Winter Mitts to get a much-needed DEF and HP boost that should stop you from dying so often.
