There are two places where you can find the Bishaten in Monster Hunter Rise. Firstly, the Shrine Ruins and later on you can find it in the Flooded Forest. At the lower levels, you will find the monster in quests such as; I Want Off This Ride, Tail to Tail, Monkey Wrench in Your Plans, and Special License Quest 2. At the higher ranks, you can find the monster in quests such as; Grasp the Great Sword, Rotten Fruit, and Rampage: Muddi Gras.
Beating Bishaten In Monster Hunter Rise
The head and the tail are the weak spots of the monster. Cut and Blunt are going to deal the most damage against the head of the boss followed by Ammo. The boss is resistant to Water and Dragon. Blast and Iceblight are the two ailments that are most effective against the boss and Poison has the least effect on the boss.
Bishaten can stand on its tail and then attack you. When the monster stands on its tail then you should attack the boss. You should also dodge incoming attacks while you do so. The monster can use a tailspin attack against you as well. You can keep the monster from using this attack by destroying its tail. The monster can also use a flash of light attack which you can dodge. The monster can also throw different fruits at you. This will damage you and affect the ground on which it lands.
To beat the boss you can take an antidote to boost your health. Once the encounter starts, you need to start attacking the tail of the monster. The boss throws fruit against you but if you interrupt the attack then the fruit is going to drop and you can use it against the boss.
Jumbo Fruit can be used to regenerate your health but be careful of the poison fruit. Once that tail is disabled, you need to focus on the wings and head of the monster. After a while, Bishaten will try to run and hide. Select the Attack and Ride Wyvern option to get on the back of the monster. It is going to be hard to control but it is a good way of dealing damage to the monster.
The monster is going to kick you off but you will need to keep damaging the head in order to deal damage and drain its HP. Repeat the process till you beat the monster.
