An original Mid-Century home in Bell Post Hill that the owners built after winning the lottery has hit the market for the first time.
Four generations of the one family have called the three-bedroom residence at 69 Jedda St home at various times over the past 50-plus years.
The 1960s flashback remains virtually unchanged and still has the same colourful wallpaper the vendor’s late grandparents first picked out.

One of the sellers, who wanted to remain anonymous, said her grandparents, English immigrants who arrived in 1951, hit the jackpot about 1965.
“I don’t know how much money but I know it enabled them to build the house and buy the land,” she said.
“They always continued to buy a lotto ticket after that.”
The house comes with an original kitchen and dining area, separate loungeroom and a central bathroom.
It’s on the market for $599,000 to $629,000, with the 687sq m north-facing block paving the way for a future extension or subdivision.
The vendor said it was a solidly built home that she and her young family had been caretakers of since her grandmother, who passed away last year, moved into aged care at the age of 96.
“My grandad worked as an engineer so he was always tinkering with something and building — I think he built the shed — … and my grandma was really clean and houseproud,” she said.
“We have cleaned it up to sell but there’s some original furniture like the dining table and chairs and the Mid-Century sideboard and all that wallpaper.
“My dad lived there as a teenager and he was in the room with the green wallpaper and that’s the same wallpaper and it’s in great condition.”
Buxton listing agent Matt Plunkett said there was a huge response to the property at the first open home due to the block size and side access.
“The think people are looking at it for subdivision but also quite a few young families wanting to move in and renovate,” Mr Plunkett said.
