Could Zuckerberg Create Buying Frenzy Among Bitcoiners?

A few weeks earlier, reports were circulating with the speculations that Facebook will announce its Bitcoin investment during the Q1 2021 results. Even though that didn’t turn out to be true, the latest post from Zuck gives rise to a fresh set of speculations.

It is yet to be seen if Zuckerberg’s post initiates a “buying frenzy” in Bitcoin similar to Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s Twitter references to Dogecoin that usually creates a price hike in the meme-based cryptocurrency.

Facebook has been involved in the crypto space since 2018. The company even has plans to launch its own stablecoin Libra (now Diem) backed by a basket of fiat currencies.
