Mark of Honor vendors in Shadowlands can be found all throughout Azeroth, Outland, and Draenor, depending on what type of transmog you want to pick up.

Marks of Honor is the old PvP currency pre-Legion, but still obtainable through current forms of PvP content. There is still some great looking gear that you may want to add to your transmog collection, and spending Marks of Honor is a great way to build that collection up, particularly if you enjoy PvP.

For Shadowlands gear, seek out Zo’sorg or Purveyor Zo’kuul in The Enclave in Oribos.

For Battle for Azeroth gear, talk to Xander Silberman who is just up the stairs as you take the ferry off of The Mugambala if you are on the Horde. If you are on the Alliance, speak to Marshal Gabriel, located in Boralus, in the building right next to “Ashvane Docks” on the map.

For Legion gear, you want to head to the new Dalaran located in the Broken Isles. For Horde, head to Windrunner’s Sanctuary with Apothecary Lee and Sarah the Savage. For Alliance, seek out Lieutenant Surtees and Captain Roberts, located inside Greyfang Enclave.

For Warlords of Draenor gear, head over to the PvP island of Ashran, accessible through a portal in your Garrison, or a direct flight path if you don’t have a Garrison. Horde players will want to talk to Blood Guard Axelash, Class Dawnstrider, Fobbly Kickfix, Malukah Lightsong, Stone Guard Brokefist, or Tae’loxe Soulshrivel. On the Alliance side, speak to Amelia Clarke, Bregg Coppercast, Holly McTilla, Ingrid Blackingot, or Slugg Spinbolt.

For Mists of Pandaria gear, head to the Serpent’s Spine, the massive wall that seperates Townlong Steppes and the Dread Wastes. Those on the Alliance can speak to Armsmaster Holinka, and any surrounding NPCs, while Horde players can speak to Doris Chiltonius, and any other surrounding NPCs.

For Cataclysm gear, Horde players can head to the Hall of Legends in Orgrimmar, and Alliance players can head to Champion’s Hall in Stormwind.

For Wrath of the Lich King gear, head to old Dalaran in Crystalsong Forest and explore the Circle of Wills, located in the sewers of Dalaran. Seek out Trapjaw Rix to spend your Marks of Honor.

For Burning Crusade gear, whether you are Alliance or Horde, head on over to Area 52 in Netherstorm and speak to Blaze Magmaburn.

Victory Five fines jungler pzx for not taking Smite in their match against Suning

Published

on

LPL continues its tradition of having players who forget to take Smite. After eStar Esports fined jungler Wei last split, Victory Five joined in today with another fine for their jungler Peng “pzx” Zhan-Xiang for failing to take Smite in V5’s series against Suning yesterday.

According to an unofficial translation of an article posted on Weibo by the organization, the player was fined one month’s salary for his mistake and received a warning for his behavior. This situation happened in the LPL repeatedly in recent times, and it’s unclear whether there will be changes to the ruleset to allow for a remake should such a situation arise again.

This win would have been important for the V5 squad, who are currently sitting in the last place without a series win with a score of zero wins and 13 losses. They were close to taking down Suning during the series, but the mistake from the first game was a free loss in the series. With the draft they had, they would have been able to stand a chance against the 2020 world finalists and potentially end their dreadful losing streak.

With three matches left against EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and LGD Gaming, it’s unlikely that V5 will be able to pick up a series win and end the regular 2021 LPL Summer Split with a win.

Evil Geniuses partners with UK soccer club Wolves

Published

on

North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has revealed a partnership with Premier League soccer club Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, it was announced today.

The partnership will see the Fosun Sports Group, which acquired the Wolves in 2016, make a minority investment in EG, valuing the team at $255 million post-investment. With this deal, Evil Geniuses will be the first esports team with a physical presence in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

The partnership and investment will enable EG to continue expanding its business into global markets. The deal will also see Wolves branding featured on EG’s uniforms, as well as collaboration to create English and Chinese content, sponsorship opportunities, and jointly branded merchandising.

“We are thrilled to partner with Wolves, a storied football club and strong sports and entertainment brand that aligns with our values and mission,” EG’s CEO Nicole LaPointe Jameson said. “This deal will help power Evil Geniuses’ expansion into the Asian markets while also providing new capital to sign more world-class players and grow into new esports titles.”

This is not the first step for Wolves in esports as the soccer club owns teams in FIFA, Call of Duty Mobile, and Rocket League, which will not be dissolved, according to Wolves Esports’ manager Michael Moriarty.

“Wolves Esports isn’t going anywhere–we’ll still be keeping our presence in China as well as the titles we have based here in Wolverhampton,” he said. “This partnership between the club and EG will benefit all sides, as we grow and develop esports excellence together.”

G2 Mikyx: ‘I feel like LCK bot lanes are worse than the LEC and LPL ones’

Published

on

G2 Esports’ Mikyx is not impressed with the quality of bot lanes on show in the LCK.

Mikyx did not shy away in an interview with InvenGlobal. When asked about his opinion related to the LPL bottom laners and the bottom laners of DWG KIA after their recent MSI performance, Mikyx had a pretty straightforward opinion.

“Yeah, I feel LCK bot lanes are worse than the LEC and LPL ones. I wasn’t very impressed by anyone there. I think some of the LPL bot lanes are pretty good. I think in Europe you also have some really good bot lanes,” he said. “So I feel like they’re a bit behind.”

G2’s support believes that DWG KIA and T1 are the only two teams with strong bottom laners in the LCK, with Gen.G, who’ve been losing matches in the past couple of weeks, a distant third. He believes that the LEC has a lot of strong bottom laners, while the mid lane is lacking in that department.

Going into the last matches of the LEC, Mikyx believes that G2 has better individual players and better adaptability compared to other teams in the best-of-five series.

LEC returns this Friday with the last week of the Summer Split regular seasons, where five teams are looking to improve their placement going into playoffs, four teams are battling for the last playoff spot, and one is trying to make their last memory of the organization within the LEC, for now, memorable after they’ve been eliminated from playoff contention.
