Man led away in cuffs as police bust £70k cannabis farm

The blue-shirted man can be seen being led away with his hands behind his back after officers stormed the address in Ospery Drive, Dudley, this afternoon (June 12).

Around 70 cannabis plants were found at the house, which is worth an estimated £70,000.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating and possessing cannabis and taken into custody for questioning, a spokesman for the force confirmed.

An eyewitness, who did not want to be named, told BlackCountryLive that officers could be heard shouting as they kicked down the door to the home.

The spokesman added: “We discovered around 70 cannabis plants at an address in Osprey Drive, Dudley, this afternoon (12 June).

“A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating and possessing cannabis and taken into custody for questioning.
