Madrid-based transport startup Meep has raised €4 million in a round led by Liil Ventures, which it aims to use to transform the MaaS (mobility as a service) landscape.
Founded in 2017, Meep aims to improve the current congested and disconnected transport system, offering its users more personalized and efficient routes. How does it do this? By bringing together all the available public and private urban transport operators in a given area, into a single app view for your location. So far, Meep’s solution has been launched in 4 countries (Spain, Portugal, Malta and Cyprus).
The startup’s fresh funds will be used to consolidate Meep’s presence in Spain, as well as expand to the US, Latin America and further across Europe. In 2021, the plan is to expand to 11 cities, bringing its total coverage to 18 cities worldwide, as well as develop ‘never seen before’ features for the MaaS sector.

And that mobility begins to be valued as an element that brings value to the day-to-day life of users.”
