Madden 22 fans are ready to pack stadiums and direct their favorite team to victory—the only question left is when they can.
After a bit of barn-themed hype earlier this month, fans can finally plan for the release of their favorite NFL franchise this August. EA Sports recently announced the official date through their social media channels on Wednesday, June 16. The reveal, including both the release and the hotly debated Madden 22 cover, made for quite an exciting stream that week.
Here’s when players can jump into Madden NFL 22.
Madden 22 releases worldwide on Aug. 20. However, players who pre-order the Dynasty or MVP editions and/or are part of EA’s subscription service EA Play and EA Play Pro will be able to access the game much earlier than that.
Dynasty and MVP Edition pre-order customers will have three full days of early access starting Aug. 17.
EA Play players will get an Early Access Trial starting on Aug. 12 “including unique, limited-time Ultimate Team Challenges” as well as a 10% discount off an official pre-order purchase.
EA Play Pro players, however, will get full access to the game on Aug. 12.
Madden NFL 22 is currently available to pre-order. Here’s hoping this launch goes a bit smoother than MLB The Show.
