Aspyr Media, known for their previous work on Star Wars games, is remaking the 2003 classic role-playing game Knights of the Old Republic. The game is still very early in development which is why the teaser is a short CGI scene that has been tagged with “not actual gameplay.”
The original Knights of the Old Republic was developed by BioWare and Lucasfilm Games and has become one of the most beloved RPGs in the 20 years since. Aspyr will be working closely with Lucasfilm Games for the development of Knights of the Old Republic.

The information available about Knights of the Old Republic is thin because of how early in development the game is. There is no official information on the game’s release date but given that it’s too early to see any gameplay, it may be a few years before the game is complete.
