The school year may be ending, but educators and leaders can take full advantage of Arizona Virtual Teacher Institute Summer Boot Camps. This year’s Summer Boot Camp series offers a variety of unique training sessions to choose from. For just a few hours a day over the course of two to three days, participants will be engaged in collaborative discussion during these live workshops. In this series, we will examine ChatGPT and other AI tools via a practical lens. We’ll experiment with using these technologies to address employing these technologies in the classroom. Throughout the series, participants will explore research-based strategies for enhancing their emotional resilience and improving their overall well-being. We will cover topics such as identifying personal and professional stressors, developing coping strategies, building emotional intelligence, practicing self-care, and cultivating a growth mindset. In this series, participants will examine the fundamentals of project-based learning, focusing heavily on using inquiry, appropriate rigor, and an emphasis on essential and driving questions. Participants will also learn about the tools available to streamline the PBL process, and be provided with workshop time to begin planning a PBL unit to use with students.
